About Hedge Magic: Ancient Roots, Modern Rituals

In every English village there was once someone who knew the hedgerow: which leaf soothed, which smoke cleared a room, which stone to keep by the door. They were the cunning folk, the wise women and men people turned to before there was a doctor or a priest nearby.
Hedge magic was their craft: the everyday magic of herbs, smoke, candlelight and stone, practised at the kitchen table rather than in a temple. In folklore the hedge marked the edge of the village, where the known world met the wild, and the hedge witch was the one who could step between the two.
We named the shop for it. We gather the things they would have kept, from crystals and resins to essential oils, candles and singing bowls, and send them out with a little of the old knowledge attached: what each thing has been used for, and how to make a small ritual of it. Ancient roots, modern rituals.
Everything you see is in stock here in the UK, packed by hand and on its way within two working days. Many pieces are made by small workshops in India, Indonesia, Nepal and Brazil.
We are not here to promise cures. We are here for the ten quiet minutes at the end of a day: a candle lit, a stone in your hand, the moon at the window.
