Backflow Incense Burner – Large Dragon Head over Pool

About this piece

The dragon's head lifts above a pool in this ceramic backflow burner, with smoke flowing from its mouth to the water below. It is a fierce and elegant piece, the kind that makes people stop and look.

In many traditions, the dragon is a protector and a bringer of luck. This burner suits a collector, a fan of myth and fantasy, or anyone who wants a striking centrepiece. It makes a standout gift for a birthday or a new home.

Set the burner on a flat, heatproof surface, light a backflow cone, and blow out the flame so it glows. Watch the heavy smoke tumble and pool below. Burning incense should never be left unattended, and keep it clear of anything flammable. A shelf, desk, bedside table or altar all make a good home for it.
