Bali Dreamcatcher – Medium Round, Black/White/Red
About this piece
A medium round dreamcatcher in bold black, white and red, with a 10cm ring and feathers that swing to a hanging length of about 30cm. The contrast is striking and a little dramatic, like a woven web caught in a stripe of lamplight.
The old legend says a dreamcatcher by the bed catches whatever the night sends. Sweet dreams find the way through, and restless ones stay tangled until morning. Balinese makers have embraced the legend, and this one is made with love and blessings. Its graphic colours suit anyone who finds pastel dreamcatchers too sweet, and make it a good first-flat or housewarming gift.
Hang it from a hook near the bed or at a bedroom window, where the feathers can sway freely. Keep it dry and out of bright sun so the colours stay rich.
