Ball Salt Lamp on Big Wooden Base
About this piece
A round Himalayan salt lamp on a big wooden base, weighing approx. 4kg. The ball glows with a deep amber light, like a harvest moon rising over a table.
Himalayan salt lamps are made from natural salt crystal, and every lamp is individual, with its own shape, colour and markings. They are sold by approximate weight, with sizes given as a rough guide only. A ball lamp of this size is the sort of piece that brings a living room together, and it makes a generous gift for a housewarming or a birthday.
Place it on a stable, dry surface such as a bedside table, desk or shelf, away from water and damp, and switch it on in the evening for a soft, amber glow. Salt attracts moisture, so a dry spot keeps it looking its best. Switch it off when you leave the room.
