Ball Top Glass Terrarium on Dark Tung Wood – Extra Large
About this piece
An extra-large glass terrarium, about 23 x 23cm, with a beautiful spherical ball top set on a rich dark tung wood base. It is a generous, statement-sized canvas for creating your own miniature green world.
Terrariums have enchanted plant lovers since the Victorians first grew ferns under glass. With its expansive space, you can layer mosses, small plants, stones and crystals into a flourishing landscape. The dark wood base gives it a sophisticated finish that suits living rooms, studies and offices. It makes a wonderful gift for a plant lover or a creative friend.
Layer gravel, soil and moss, then add small plants, pebbles or a crystal or two, and place the ball top over the scene. Keep it in bright, indirect light and mist lightly when needed. A lovely weekend project.
