The large Victorian Peony botanical candle comes in a round ceramic jar with a slim wooden wick, filled with soybean wax and a romantic, floral scent. The wooden wick gives a clean, almost smokeless flame, and the whole thing has the calm look of a well-kept country garden.

The scent is an extremely light floral built on peony flowers in full bloom, romantic as a country garden. The wax is soy, a renewable resource, with 3% fragrance oil, and the ceramic jar is made to be reused once the candle has burned down. It arrives in a presentation box, which makes it a ready-made gift for a gardener, a host or a friend who loves botanical fragrance.

Place it in a bedroom or a bathroom, trim the wick before each burn and let the first burn reach the edges. Leave at least 10cm between burning candles. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable.
