Ceramic Glazed Mango Wood Box – Blue Stars, 20 x 15cm
About this piece
A large mango wood box with a blue glaze scattered with stars, like a clear night sky caught under glass. The ceramic glaze gives the lid a smooth, cool finish, while the mango wood beneath keeps the whole piece warm and sturdy.
Ceramic-glazed wood boxes are a lovely way to give small treasures a proper home. This one, in a blue star pattern, makes a thoughtful gift for a friend who loves pretty storage, a birthday, or a housewarming. As the wood and glaze are natural, finish and shade vary slightly between boxes.
Roomy enough for a pack of cards, a few crystals, a stack of letters or a handful of jewellery. Keep it on a dressing table, desk or altar, or use it as a keepsake box for tokens, trinkets and letters. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the glaze shining.
