Driftwood Bird Box on Stand
About this piece
A charming little bird box made by hand from recycled driftwood, its weathered timbers bleached and smoothed by the sea. Standing on its own base, it looks like a tiny seaside cottage waiting for its first feathered tenants.
Each piece is handmade in Indonesia from quality recycled driftwood, so the grain, colour and shape vary from box to box. Bird boxes are a lovely way to welcome wildlife into the garden, and the hanging rope gives you the option to hang it from a branch instead. It makes a thoughtful gift for gardeners, birdwatchers and nature lovers.
Place it in a quiet, sheltered spot in the garden, on a low wall among the flowerbeds, or hang it from a sturdy branch by its rope. Indoors, it also makes a rustic decorative piece on a porch or sunroom shelf.
