Extra Large Mango Wood Box – Moon Phase Goddess
About this piece
Moon phases circle a carved Moon Goddess at the heart of a flourishing floral mandala, all worked in fine detail across the lid of this extra large mango wood box. It has the quiet drama of a night sky seen through a garden gate.
The waxing and waning moon has long been a symbol of the divine feminine, intuition and the cycles of life, and this engraving gathers all of that on one lid. It makes a beautiful keeper for tarot decks, crystals or jewellery, and a very special gift for a friend who follows the lunar calendar or celebrates the full moon.
Place it on your altar or dressing table as a home for your ritual tools, or use it to store a tarot deck and a few favourite stones. The wood is handcrafted from mango, so each box differs a little in grain and tone, which only adds to its charm.
