A 50g tub of frankincense resin, golden tears that smoulder on charcoal into a uniquely smoky, evocative fragrance. It's incense in its oldest, purest form.
Frankincense has been burned in temples and churches for thousands of years, prized for its warm, clean, slightly citrusy scent and its place in prayer, meditation and celebration. Loose resin gives you a deeper, more immersive experience than sticks. Weights are approximate and may be 45–50g. It's a classic gift for Yule or anyone exploring traditional incense.
Light a charcoal disc held with tongs and set it in your incense holder, ideally on a layer of sand to absorb the heat. When the charcoal turns grey around the edges, add a few pieces of resin. Burn on a heat-proof surface, and never leave it unattended.
