About this piece
A slim glass vase set inside a dark tung wood frame, measuring 14.5 x 5 x 23cm. The clear glass shows off whatever you put in it, whether trailing ivy, a single stem or a tiny terrarium, while the wood gives it a warm, grounded base.
The mix of clear glass and dark timber is a modern take on the Victorian love of bringing plants indoors. It suits anyone with a small windowsill, a desk or a narrow shelf, and makes a stylish gift for a houseplant fan, a new tenant, or a friend who likes to decorate with greenery.
Fill it with water-loving cuttings, dried grasses or a miniature moss landscape and place it where it gets bright, indirect light. Wipe the wood with a dry or barely damp cloth, and keep water from sitting against the frame.
