Graduated Pillar Candles – Red, Set of 4

About this piece

Four red pillar candles in graduated heights, from 7cm to 13cm, set side by side so the flames make a stepped skyline of light. Each is ø4.8cm and made of paraffin wax.

Red is the traditional colour of candle magic for love, courage and passion, and it is just as good for a winter table or a Yule celebration. Graduated sets look beautiful in the middle of a table or on a mantel, and burn for approx. 11, 16, 22 and 33 hours, so there is a candle for a quick moment and one for a long evening. It is a lovely housewarming gift.

Arrange the four on a tray or board and light them in any order. The tallest takes the longest, so each flame has its own time. Keep them well apart and on a heatproof surface. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable.
