About this piece
Simple slats laid like the rungs of a ladder make this hemu wood soap dish clean, minimal and wonderfully practical. Your soap sits up on the rails, water drips through and air flows all around.
Handmade and natural soaps last far longer when they can dry out properly between uses, and this classic ladder design does exactly that. It is made from hemu wood, a sustainable timber from the Guger tree in China, and comes individually wrapped in paper. Paired with a handmade soap slice, it is an easy, eco-minded gift for any occasion.
Place it beside the basin, in the shower or by the kitchen sink and rest your soap on the slats after each wash. Rinse occasionally and leave to air dry. A small swap that keeps bars firm and fragrant.
