Herbal Teapot Set – China Fans
About this piece
The China Fans Herbal Teapot Set is graceful and decorative, a ceramic teapot and six matching cups adorned with elegant fan motifs inspired by traditional Chinese design. It turns an ordinary pot of tea into something a little ceremonial.
Fans have long been symbols of elegance and good fortune in Chinese art, and tea itself has been a ritual of hospitality there for thousands of years. The metal strainer in the lid lets you brew loose-leaf tea without tea bags. Packed in a gift box, it is a beautiful housewarming gift or a treat for a lover of Eastern style.
Add loose-leaf tea or herbs to the strainer in the lid, pour over hot water and let it steep, then pour into the little cups and savour slowly. Hand washing will keep the glaze looking its best.
