About this piece
A cactus-shaped hydroponic display, with a round glass laboratory tube held in a frame of recycled wood. Small chip stones at the base add texture and colour, and a trailing stem or cutting in the glass makes it a miniature garden.
Made from recycled metal, glass and wood, these displays turn a home into a small laboratory of living things, a very modern take on the windowsill garden. A quirky gift for a succulent fan or a friend with a desk in need of green.
You can plant small plants in the glass laboratory tubes, with the chip stones for texture. Place it in a bright spot in a kitchen, bedroom or office, out of the harshest direct sun, and top up the water as needed. Glass is fragile, so handle with care.
