About this piece
A hanging art vase of molten glass on Gamal wood, an unusual piece that looks as if the glass is suspended from its timber. The shape is sculptural and graceful, with curves that catch the light.
Glass shaped over natural Gamal wood is a lovely marriage of earthy and chic. Because each piece is formed by hand, the outline, thickness and wood grain differ from one to the next, which makes it a one-of-a-kind gift for a friend who loves houseplants and handcrafted things.
Pop in a trailing cutting, a stem or two, or a few polished stones and set it where light can pass through the glass. Wipe gently with a soft cloth and do not soak the wood.
