Natural Bamboo Wind Chime – Brown Buddha, 6 Tubes
About this piece
Six bamboo tubes in a natural finish hang from a brown Buddha, knocking together with a soft, hollow, woody tone whenever the wind passes. It sounds like rain on a tin roof, mellow and unhurried.
Handcrafted in Indonesia from sustainable bamboo, the chime brings a sense of tranquillity to a garden, porch or sunny room. The Buddha is a classic image of calm, so it makes a gentle gift for a meditator, a new homeowner or anyone with a garden. Bamboo has a long history in Asian garden craft, and a chime like this is often the first thing visitors notice and the last they forget.
Hang it from a branch, a porch beam or a window frame where it can catch a breeze. It suits both indoor and outdoor spaces. Bring it indoors in winter to hang by a window, and out again when the sun returns.
