About this piece
A soap dispenser in natural coconut wood, with a grain that ripples across the surface like the inside of a shell. At 150ml, it is sized for a hand-wash by the kitchen sink or a small cloakroom basin.
Wood and a pump bottle make a good partnership: the warm natural material takes the edge off the plastic of a bottle, so liquid soap feels like part of the room instead of a chore. Every piece of coconut wood is different in grain and tone, which is much of its charm. It makes a thoughtful housewarming gift.
Fill it with your favourite liquid hand wash, press the pump and set it on a dry shelf beside the basin. Wipe the wood with a dry cloth now and then, and avoid leaving it standing in water.
