About this piece
A rag rug cushion cover woven from cotton in a joyful mix of colours. Its flat, flexible weave adds tactile, patchwork-like texture to a sofa, with small shifts in tone that make it feel lived-in and loved.
Rag weaving is a thrifty craft with a long history, and a cushion cover in the same cloth is a lovely way to bring that warmth to the sofa. Match it with a rag rug, or let it stand alone as a cheerful gift for a housewarming.
Fit it over a pad of a matching size, then pair it with a plain throw so the texture stands out.
