About this piece
A large fancy sweet bowl made from recycled beer bottle glass and set on a Gamal wood base. The glass is a soft bottle green, ruffled at the rim like a petal, and the whole piece looks like a pretty relic from an old pub garden.
Giving old bottles a second life as glass art is a lovely idea, and the wood keeps the look earthy and warm. This sweet-bowl shape is a fine gift for someone who cares about recycling or loves unusual homewares. Each bowl is shaped individually, so the depth of colour and the outline of the glass will differ a little from the one in the photograph.
Use it for sweets, jewellery, cuttings or a few crystals. Wipe the glass with a soft damp cloth and keep the wood dry. Colour and shape vary from piece to piece.
