Seftonite Bloodstone African Tumble Stones – Small
About this piece
Dark green tumble stones flecked with spots of deep red: bloodstone has a quiet, dramatic beauty that rewards a closer look. These small seftonite stones are smooth, cool and satisfying to hold.
Bloodstone is a rare variety of chalcedony, its red inclusions caused by iron oxide. It has been prized by collectors for centuries and in folklore is considered a stone of courage and victory, once carried by soldiers into battle. These African tumble stones make a meaningful gift for someone facing a challenge or celebrating a hard-won achievement.
Carry one in your pocket when you need courage, hold it during meditation, or place a few on your desk or altar. They look striking among other green stones in a crystal grid. Each natural stone varies in colour and shape.
