A spiral-twisted tower of milky white selenite, 10cm tall, ridged and rippling like a unicorn's horn. Lit from behind it glows softly, and by day it simply looks like a small piece of moonlit sculpture for a shelf or bedside table.
Selenite takes its name from Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon, and it is easy to see why: the milky crystal fibres catch and soften the light with a lunar glow. In crystal lore it is linked with the third eye and crown, and some say it encourages purity and honesty. Formed by nature, every tower is completely unique, which makes it a lovely gift for a moon-lover, a new home or a friend who enjoys a little magic.
Stand it on a bedside table, altar or windowsill, or on an LED light block, which makes the ridges glow beautifully in the evening.
