Selenite Wand – Round Both Ends, 16cm
About this piece
Both ends of this 16cm selenite wand are softly rounded, so it rests in the palm like a smooth river pebble stretched into a wand. The surface is pale and satiny, with a faint pearly glimmer that shifts as you turn it.
Selenite takes its name from Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon, and the way its milky crystals refract light is wonderfully lunar. In crystal lore it is connected with purity and honesty, and with the third eye and crown chakras. Its gentle shape makes it a lovely present for a friend who prefers soft, calming things.
Keep it in your hand during meditation, lay it across a journal while you write, or stand it on a shelf where the morning light can find it. It glows prettily on an LED light block. Selenite is soft, so keep it dry and handle with care.
