Swirls Shaped Vase – Cream
About this piece
A swirls-shaped vase in cream terracotta, with spiralling ridges that catch the light and make a soft pattern of shadows. It looks like a shell, smooth and quietly dramatic.
Lombok ceramic vases are handmade works of art, shaped from terracotta clay and finished with care. The cream colour is light and flexible, and the swirls add movement. It makes a considered gift for a minimalist friend. Terracotta has a lovely tactile warmth, and the matt surface will pick up a soft patina as it is handled and dusted over the years. Because the clay is shaped by hand, small variations in curve and tone are part of its character.
Stand it on a table, shelf or the floor with dried grasses or stems. It is not waterproof, so keep to dried flowers or use a liner. Each piece varies slightly.
