Wooden Smudge & Offerings Bowl – Triple Moon, 13 x 7cm
About this piece
A mango wood offerings bowl with the Triple Moon, measuring 13 x 7cm: the phases of the moon in a simple, graceful arrangement. The warm grain of the mango wood varies from bowl to bowl, and it is wide and roomy, with space for a bundle of herbs, several chunks of resin or a small collection of crystals.
The Triple Moon shows the waxing, full and waning phases, and is a symbol of the divine feminine and the cycles of change. As a larger bowl it gives you more room to work, and it is a lovely gift for a moon-lover, or anyone who marks the full moon.
Use it for smudging herbs, resin, dried flowers or offerings, or as a catch-all for crystals and jewellery. The extra width gives you room to rest a smudge stick or arrange a few offerings, which makes it a good centrepiece for an altar. If you burn anything in it, stand it on a heatproof surface and never leave a flame unattended.
