Aluminium Enamel Incense Bowl – Blue Hamsa

About this piece

A golden hamsa hand sits at the centre of this aluminium enamel incense bowl, ringed by deep blue evil eye details. The colours are bold and the finish is smooth and glossy. It is small enough for a bedside table, yet bold enough to anchor a shelf.

The hamsa and the evil eye are two of the best-loved protective symbols, found in homes across the Middle East and Mediterranean. Together, they make this bowl a thoughtful gift for a friend who loves symbolism, or for a housewarming. A lovely small gift for Christmas, a housewarming or a thank-you.

Add a shallow layer of sand or ash to the bowl, rest an incense stick or cone in it, and light it. The bowl catches the ash neatly. Never leave burning incense unattended, and use it on a heatproof surface. It is also lovely as a decorative piece when no incense is burning.
