About this piece
A turtle carving in cool aqua tones with a drop of raffia, pinewood beads and driftwood. It weighs only 167g, light and easy to hang, with a shape that looks like it has drifted in on the tide.
The sea turtle is a symbol many people associate with longevity and a slow, steady pace, which makes this a gentle reminder to take things calmly. The natural materials and soft colour suit coastal homes, and it is a sweet gift for a turtle lover or a child's room.
Hang it by a window or on a door handle, or tuck it onto a shelf of shells and driftwood. Wipe it lightly with a dry cloth when it needs a freshen up.
