Backflow Incense Burner – Large Pebbles into Pool

About this piece

Smooth pebbles lead into a pool in this large ceramic backflow burner, a calm, Zen-garden arrangement in miniature. The smoke slips over the stones and settles in the pool below, slow and soft.

Pebbles and still water are a familiar image of balance and quiet reflection, and this burner suits anyone who loves minimal, natural décor. Its larger size makes it a handsome gift for a housewarming.

Light a backflow cone, let it smoulder, and sit back as the smoke begins to flow. Keep it on a steady, heatproof surface, and never leave burning incense unattended. Extinguish the cone fully before leaving the room. Try it with sandalwood or lavender cones for a softer mood, or frankincense for something deeper.
