Rope Incense & Silver Plated Holder Set – Pancha Buddha

About this piece

The Pancha Buddha, or Five Buddhas, appear on the silver-plated holder in this set, which includes ten hand-rolled incense ropes. The figures are finely detailed and give the piece a devotional, temple-like quality.

In Buddhist tradition the Five Buddhas represent five wisdoms and qualities, among them compassion, wisdom, power, love and purity. The set suits a meditation corner or a quiet altar, and it is a considered present for anyone walking a contemplative path.

Rest the tip of a rope in the holder, light it and let the flame settle into a glowing ember. Place it on a heat-resistant surface and breathe in the fragrance as it burns. Never leave burning incense unattended, and allow the holder to cool before handling.
