Backflow Incense Burner – Small Red Dragon

About this piece

A small red dragon crouches on this ceramic backflow burner, bright against the surrounding stone. Smoke flows down the dragon in a mesmerising waterfall, a bold little focal point.

Red dragons are linked with courage, vitality and good fortune in many traditions. At 301g, this one is a compact, friendly size for a desk, shelf or altar, and a fun gift for a dragon lover.

Place a backflow cone on the burner's plate, light the tip, then let the flame die so the cone smoulders. Within moments the smoke begins to pour down in slow ribbons. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep the burner on a heatproof surface. It is a pleasure to watch at the end of a long day, when the house is quiet.
