About this piece
A wooden puzzle box shaped like a plump frog, squat and ready to hop, with wide eyes and a smile.
In folklore, frogs are associated with transformation and good luck, so this makes a lucky gift for a friend moving house or starting a new job. The idea is the same as an Indian wooden puzzle: you have to work out which order to pull the pieces apart in, and in the middle is a small compartment for something special.
To open it, slide and pull the pieces in the right order. It takes some trial and error, which is half the fun. Tuck a small gift, ring or note in the hidden compartment at the centre, then reset the pieces.
