About this piece
Two dolphins captured mid-movement, balanced on a naturally formed wood base. The smooth, flowing lines of the carving contrast with the rugged parasite wood.
Dolphins stand for play, intelligence and freedom, which makes this piece a joyful gift for a sea lover. Each piece is cut from naturally formed parasite wood, so grain, colour and shape vary.
Set it on a shelf or bathroom windowsill, where the curves can catch the light. Dust gently with a dry cloth. The two dolphins seem to leap together, so the piece has a feeling of movement even when it is still, and it pairs beautifully with shells, sea glass or a blue glass bottle. Because the base is a natural piece of wood, it stands on any flat surface.
