Six handmade frankincense smudge cups that release a woody, earthy and slightly citrusy fragrance as they smoulder. Small and self-contained, they make resin incense wonderfully simple.

Frankincense, also called olibanum, has been burned in religious and spiritual rituals for thousands of years, traditionally for purification, meditation and spiritual protection. These tribal-style cups are handmade in India, approx. 3cm each, and are not tested on animals. They make a thoughtful gift for anyone with a meditation practice or a love of timeless, sacred scents.

Place a cup on the accompanying metal plate, light it and allow it to smoulder in a well-ventilated room, away from fans or draughts. Sit quietly as the fragrance rises. Keep out of reach of children, and never leave burning incense unattended.
