Brass Censer Incense Burner with Wooden Handle – Pentagram

About this piece

A traditional brass censer, engraved and fitted with star-shaped vents and a pentagram finial. The polished wooden handle keeps the hand away from the heat.

The pentagram symbolises protection and balance, and the censer has long been used to carry fragrant smoke through a space. It suits ritual work, and is a gift for a witch, a ritualist or any collector of ritual tools. It is a handsome addition to an altar, and a thoughtful present for a friend who is growing her collection of ritual tools.

Use it to burn resin, cone or charcoal incense. Carry it by the handle, and set it on a heatproof surface. Brass heats up in use. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it on a heatproof surface. Pairs well with frankincense or sage.
