About this piece
A large hanging pot in warm, glowing brass swings from its chains, its surface worked with the dragon, phoenix, tiger and tortoise. It is richly detailed and has the weight and sheen of a piece that could belong in a monastery hall.
In Tibetan culture the four celestial symbols stand for the four cardinal directions, the four elements and four virtues, which gives the piece a quiet sense of balance and protection. Handcrafted in India from brass, it is a beautiful gift for an incense lover, a meditator or anyone with a shrine or altar.
Hang it from a sturdy hook in a spot you can reach, away from curtains and anything flammable, and use it to burn your favourite incense. Never leave a burning flame or incense unattended.
