Cajeput essential oil has a fresh, camphorous and slightly fruity aroma, similar to eucalyptus and tea tree, that clears the air and brings a crisp, clean feel to a room. It is bright, sharp and invigorating.

The oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of Melaleuca cajuputi, sourced from Indonesia, and belongs to the same family as tea tree. Many people diffuse it in winter for its fresh, clearing scent, and it is also traditionally used to keep insects away from rooms in summer.

Add a few drops to a diffuser or to water in an oil burner. Use only in high dilution on skin; dilute before use on skin. Keep out of reach of children, avoid contact with eyes and store in a cool, dark place.
