Carved Antique-Style Wooden Horse – Large, 32cm
About this piece
A large carved wooden horse with a beautifully distressed finish, as though it has stood in a country antique shop for a hundred years. At 32cm it has real stature, with intricate carving across its body that rewards a closer look.
Carved from albasia wood, this horse brings timeless, vintage charm to traditional and modern rooms alike. Horses have stood for loyalty, freedom and good fortune for centuries, and a handsome figure like this makes a striking gift for a rider, a collector of folk art or anyone who loves rooms full of character.
Let it take centre stage on a mantelpiece, a deep windowsill or a console table in the hallway. Pair it with old books, dried grasses and a brass candlestick for a cosy, collected look, or give it a shelf of its own where it can be admired from across the room.
