A long, slim banner in sky blue, with chakra bands softly shifting across the cloth like a clear morning.
The seven chakras are the energy centres of yoga tradition, and sky blue gives them a gentle, airy feel. Made using the batik method, the design is first drawn in hot wax directly on the fabric, then coloured with natural dyes. After the wax is washed out and the fabric sun dried, the colours come alive. It makes a soothing gift for a bedroom, a bathroom or a quiet meditation corner.
Hang it on a wall, over a door or down a narrow stretch where a long drop looks best, or from a pole in a window. Keep it out of damp, and gently shake out dust now and then.
