Chakra Singing Bowl – Crown

About this piece

A brass crown chakra singing bowl, the colour of violet, made to ring when you circle its rim with the wood stick. Small and weighty in the hand, it has a clear, resonant voice that fills a room.

In yogic tradition the crown chakra sits at the top of the head and is linked with understanding and bliss. Its colour is violet, and its stones are said to be amethyst. Associated energies include air, meditation and intuition. It is a lovely gift for a meditator or yoga lover, bringing a little extra inner calm to a daily routine.

Rest it on your palm or a cushion, then use the wood stick to tap it, or circle the rim slowly to make the bowl sing. It takes a little practice to master, but the sound is worth it. Keep it on an altar or shelf in between.
