Chakra Singing Bowl – Solar Plexus
About this piece
A brass solar plexus chakra singing bowl, the colour of yellow, made to ring when you circle its rim with the wood stick. Small and weighty in the hand, it has a clear, resonant voice that fills a room.
In yogic tradition the solar plexus chakra sits at above the navel and is linked with willpower and joy. Its colour is yellow, and its stones are said to be amber, topaz and citrine. Associated energies include fire, warmth and energy. It is a lovely gift for a meditator or yoga lover, bringing a little extra inner calm to a daily routine.
Rest it on your palm or a cushion, then use the wood stick to tap it, or circle the rim slowly to make the bowl sing. It takes a little practice to master, but the sound is worth it. Keep it on an altar or shelf in between.
