Crystal Ball on Stand – 60mm
About this piece
A 60mm crystal ball on a crystal stand, clear and bright, with a sweet weight of about 410g. It catches candles, lamps and window light and bends them into small, curved scenes within the glass.
The classic fortune-teller's tool, the crystal ball is at the centre of scrying, the practice of gazing until impressions arise. This 60mm size is a sweet spot for beginners: large enough to read comfortably, and small enough for a desk or shelf. It makes an enchanting gift for a tarot reader, a lover of Halloween décor, or anyone who has always wanted one.
Set it on a dark cloth, dim the lights and let your eyes soften for a few minutes, noting what comes to mind. Keep it out of direct sunlight, which a glass ball can focus into a hot spot. Pop it back into its protective box when not on show.
