About this piece
A low-medium Happy Drum, 14x7cm, in a sleek black finish with coloured chakra symbols picked out in detail. It is simple on the outside and distinctive up close, and the tuned tongues give a low, warm ring.
Tongue drums like this are played with the fingertips or soft mallets, and each tuned tongue gives a different note. It is a friendly gift for beginners as well as musicians, for a meditation corner, or for someone who loves quiet sound. The coloured chakra symbols reflect the seven energy centres of yogic tradition, and they add a subtle, meaningful touch to its clean design.
Place it on your lap or a firm cushion and tap each tongue with your fingertips, letting the sound fade before the next. Keep it dry and away from damp.
