About this piece
A glowing enamel sun takes pride of place on the lid, bright against the warm tone of the mango wood. The Hop Hare enamelled square box is crafted from mango wood, and the glossy finish catches the light as you move.
The sun stands for warmth, vitality and fresh starts, so this is a cheerful gift for a birthday or a new home. Because the wood is natural, every box has its own grain and tone. It makes an eye-catching gift for a friend with a love of folklore and symbolism.
Its mid-sized proportions suit a bedside table or shelf, with room for rings, small crystals or a deck of cards. Keep it on view as a decorative piece, or use it to tuck away the small things that matter. Wipe clean with a dry cloth and avoid soaking the wood.
