Three 10ml bottles, three very different personalities: soft floral lavender, clean and sharp tea tree, and fresh, herbal rosemary. Together they cover the sweet, the crisp and the green, and they make a handy starter trio for the diffuser shelf.

The source of each oil is noted: lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) from France, tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) from Australia and rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) from Tunisia. Lavender has long been tucked into linen cupboards, and rosemary is the herb of remembrance. A neat, useful gift for a new home or a first diffuser.

Use one at a time, or blend two or three drops of each in a diffuser for a clean, herbal fragrance. Add to a burner for the evening. Dilute before use on skin. Never leave a burner flame unattended. Keep out of reach of children.
