Macadamia Carrier Oil is a clear, golden yellow oil with a mild, nutty scent and a feel that is light yet wonderfully rich. Cold pressed from ripe macadamia nuts and sourced from Australia, this 100ml bottle is a luxurious base for massage and skincare.
The macadamia tree is native to Australia, where its nuts were eaten and processed by Aboriginal Australians long before they were known elsewhere. Rich in oleic acid, the oil is a favourite for dry skin and is used in creams, lotions, shampoos and conditioners. It works beautifully with any essential oil, making it a lovely choice for massage and aromatherapy blends.
Warm a little between your palms and add a few drops of essential oil for a nourishing massage, or use as a base for body oils and homemade creams. Not suitable for anyone with a nut allergy; patch test first. Store in a cool, dark place.
