The sacred Ohm symbol is worked into the front of this large mango wood backflow burner, its curves picked out by the grain of the wood. Burn a cone and the smoke runs down over the design in slow, soft ribbons.
Ohm is the sound said to hold all sounds, chanted at the start and end of yoga and meditation. At 500g, it is a good, solid choice for a studio or home altar, and a thoughtful gift for a yoga teacher or meditation lover.
Set the burner on a flat, heatproof surface, light a backflow cone, and blow out the flame so it glows. Watch the heavy smoke tumble and pool below.
