The rose has been a symbol of love and secrecy for thousands of years; in ancient Rome, a rose hung above a table meant everything said beneath it was confidential, sub rosa. This darker take on rose is rich and sensual rather than sweet. The 10ml bottle is diluted with dipropylene glycol (DPG) so the scent lasts once warmed. A romantic gift for Valentine's Day or an anniversary.
Add a few drops to the water dish of an oil burner and light a tealight beneath, or refresh potpourri and scented stones for a flame-free option. Never leave a lit burner unattended. For home fragrance only; keep off skin and out of reach of children.
