About this piece
A mini brass singing bowl set in black, small enough to hold in one hand and weighing about 300g in all. It comes in a presentation box with the bowl, a cushion and a wooden stick, and it also arrives with a pouch bag.
The sides and rim of a singing bowl vibrate to make sound, which is why they are really a type of bell. The wooden stick draws out a divine, low dong, and with practice you can coax a sustained hum. It is a lovely gift for anyone who could use a little inner calm.
Place the bowl on the cushion, tap the rim gently with the stick and let the sound ring out. It takes a little patience to master, but each attempt brings its own pleasing note.
