About this piece
A small molten glass bowl resting on a whitewashed wooden base, its outline curved and pleasantly uneven. The pale wood has a soft, driftwood look, and the clear glass sits in it like a drop of water.
There is something quietly pleasing about glass that has been coaxed into shape over real timber. The wood stays rooted and rustic while the glass adds light and movement, and because every piece is made by hand, the finished object is never repeated. It is a thoughtful present for anyone who adores plants and natural materials.
Use it for a cutting in water, a small succulent, dried flowers or a handful of crystals. Wipe the glass with a soft damp cloth and the wood with a dry one, and keep the wood from sitting in water.
