About this piece
A medium glass vase shaped over whitewashed wood, narrow at the top for a few stems and fuller below. The pale base has the faded charm of seaside timber, and the glass has a smooth, glassy shimmer.
Glass shaped over natural Gamal wood is a lovely marriage of earthy and chic. Because each piece is formed by hand, the outline, thickness and wood grain differ from one to the next, which makes it a one-of-a-kind gift for a friend who loves houseplants and handcrafted things.
Pop in a trailing cutting, a stem or two, or a few polished stones and set it where light can pass through the glass. Wipe gently with a soft cloth and do not soak the wood.
